United Scenic’s set design team recently made a statement in Orlando. Our talented group of engineers built a replica cassette tape prop that was 7’ tall x 12’ wide that was complemented by a custom rounded stage and matching steps with an overhang for LED accent lighting.

The steps were an interesting challenge. They required approval from a structural engineer certified by the state of Florida prior to being cleared by the local Fire Marshall. This meant creating and submitting a scaled rendering. This can prove to be a major issue for our competitors but it is not for United Scenic.
