We were recently given the chance to work with the team at Luminative Design for the second year in a row on a truly spectacular program for Certified Angus Beef’s Annual Conference in Nashville, Tennesee. The venue was adjacent to the Country Music Hall of Fame and the goal was to create a set that looked as if the music had exploded through the walls of the set and enveloped the audience.

The challenge was to create the illusion of rustic wood, concrete, brick, and a giant guitar that revealed a band, all in a lighter and more portable format that could be installed in a tight load-in window. Our craftsmen decided to build most of the set out of EPS foam. This reduced the cost and weight while allowing for the creation of all sorts of texture and detail. The finished product was amazing, so much so that a local décor company was interested in purchasing the set.
